
Tocqueville's home base was Paris, but he moved around quite a bit, in part due to his father's various political assignments, and later due to his own. In 1828, he and Beaumont shared an apartment at 66 rue d'Anjou in Versailles while both were working for the court of law. Click on the photos to learn more about where he lived.
